Morten Knudsen born in Asager, Denmark, in 1985, he studied at the Hochschule Für Bildende Künste Hamburg as well as at The Royal Danish Academy of Arts. Since then, Knudsen has enjoyed the opportunity to showcase his work world wide. Recent exhibitions include those at the Taka Ishii Gallery at Frieze New York 2016 (US) and Andersen’s 2018 (DK).

From pure studies of black on white to vibrant kaleidoscopic works, Knudsen’s art conveys an organic sensibility held together with an underlying sense of order or logic. These patterns pull the viewer of Knudsen’s art deeper into his compositions in an effort to force a confrontation of the rich textures therein.
